Ferulic acid
What is it?
Ferulic acid is a hydroxycinnamic acid, an organic compound abundant in nature found mainly in the cell walls of plants. Like many other natural phenols, ferulic acid has antioxidant properties.
What does it do for your skin?
Neutralises the free radicals responsible for the oxidation processes involved in overactivating melanin synthesis (dark spot appearance) and premature skin aging.
